Great product–poor shipping
I ordered this product to use on my hands and find it to be very pleasant–everything I hoped for really–it smooths my hands and leaves them feeling moisturized with a light pleasant scent. Marvelous! Unfortunately the product arrived in a really generous-sized jar with a broken lid which allowed some of the contents to spill out in the box in which it was bouncing around unfettered. The missing lid piece was not IN that box so I believe the lid was probably broken when it was shipped! I wasn’t expecting the scrub to be sterile necessarily and I am not going to drive 40 miles to return it hoping for better luck if I get a replacement, but no care whatsoever was taken in shipping this item and that is annoying. That said, if your item arrives undamaged you will love it!

Lychee Kiss is RED, RED, RED
Lychee Kiss- I constantly have a rotating Tree Hut scrub in my shower and a minimum of two as backup. There are so many great scents and varieties.This review is specifically pertaining to Lychee Kiss- the scent is wonderful. I’m not a fan of the little added shimmer that just goes down the drain. However what truly makes this one a dud is the intense dye used in it- it colors my hands, wherever I scrub, the tub and the grout in an awful “I just slaughtered an animal while showering” RED after I a rub I have to soap again to get rid of the color and be sure to rinse the tub and grout extremely well.TreeHut – as a huge fan of your scrubs, the added dye is NOT NEEDED- please consider color free versions.

Weird texture and awful smell
Honestly the worst body scrub i have ever used and it smells horrible. Smells good before using it, when you’re in the shower, the smell is strong and not pleasant. Plus the texture doesn’t feel like how a real body scrub should feel like. I used a small amount on my arm and washed it off immediately. It’s not for me.

May have received a bad batch…
I’ve been wanting to try Tree Hut scrubs for a while, but couldn’t decide which scent to choose….. I absolutely love anything Vanilla or Coconut, and after reading so many positive reviews, I purchased the Vanilla version. Big Mistake… I really liked the thick consistency, but it had almost no fragrance at all. I decided to use it anyway. I used it as a hand wash, both alone and then mixed with my normal hand soap. While it did leave my skin noticably softer, it also left a lingering chemical/perfumey scent on my skin that was quite nauseating 🙁 Maybe I just received a bad batch, but I’m pretty disappointed. It smelled nothing of vanilla or Coconut neither before or after use. I will try the fruitier scents next time since I do like the overall product itself. Fingers crossed 🤞

Smells bad
The scrub is fine, but the smell is absolutely horrendous. I can’t use it without getting nauseous. Unfortunately it is going in the trash and will not be buying again.

The scent is definitely nothing like it’s described to be.
The one star is for the rancid butter and melted crayons scent. Lotus flower? Absolutely not. Zero stars is what this scent really gets. However, I do love the Tree Hut sugar scrubs. They leave my skin super soft and feeling moisturized. But I had to send this one back because of the putrid scent. This experience literally made me have to go to Target and smell them all to avoid another disappointment bc I wanted a new scent. Found a couple that I loved. Happy about that because now my nose needs a shower. And as far as the reviews from people stating that their product did not have a safety seal… they don’t have one when buying from the store either. Questionable practice for sure, but it is not just an Amazon thing.

Not raspberry scented at all
Raspberry fizz? Why name it that?!? It doesn’t even remotely smell of raspberries! It only smells floral. It’s not entirely unpleasant, sort of akin to walking through a perfume area of a department store…just an amalgamation of floral, unidentifiable scents. It was pretty cheap, but not what I was looking for at all. If you’re looking for raspberry scent, look elsewhere!!!!!!

Fake?
I think I got fake product because the vanilla was nothing like the other Tree Hut scents I’ve gotten. It was incredibly coarse, almost painful to use, and the scent was odd. I don’t know how to describe it other than it just wasn’t right. Every other scent I’ve gotten has been wonderful though.

Good scrub.. Reddit said it was the bomb.. but they forgot to mention it had AHA😕. Think they should have advertised that a bit more. Also they should say how many percent of AHA. I know everyone using acids on their bodies nowadays — but I prefer not too. Other then that.. it’s pretty alright. Decent scrub. Not exciting fragrance wise either. Prefer soap and glory(original pink tub) tbh though.
