Works great, doesn’t stink or burn!
I have very fine, thin hair that is long. I have stubborn curls and lots of unruly white and silver hair as well. I was super nervous about trying a real keratin smoothing treatment at home, but did the Pravana system many times before finding an organic alternative on Amazon that I have been using, but results weren’t lasting. So I tried this. I left it on for 30min to be cautious, and glad I did. This straightened it nicely so curls were very loose , gentle waves. I did get a little on my scalp in a couple of places but it was only mildly irritating. It doesn’t smell like chemical fumes or nasty either. On applying it smells sweet and acidic. After rinsing with only water , you smell a noticeable keratin smell, but again, not funky or powerful. The smell does go away completely when blow dried and my hair was soft, shiney and straight in a couple of minutes (dyson dryer). If you want lasting straightness you then have to flat iron well and thoroughly- take your time, work in small sections. Bam! Very smooth, straight hair! Feels great and looks great rolling right out of bed!This is so much easier to do, and love the results. Super straight after quick blow dry and quick touch up with flat irons to perfect. I don’t like spending much time on my hair so this works out perfectly for me! I waited 2 days for first wash. The smell came again when wet, but less noticeable. Third wash, slight smell. I hope it will not smell for fourth wash, but even if it continues to linger, I’m fine with it because it’s nothing compared to others and it’s completely gone when completely dry. Follow the directions and you’ll have success. This is my go to from now on since I don’t trust many products with my fine hair. Also- I was worried this might discolor my silver and white hair, but no problem! This is a great product to try. I did this by myself with an extra mirror rigged up so I could see the back. Good luck ladies!UPDATE: No keratin smell after fourth wash. Definitely lasted me 3 months. This bottle has been enough for 3 full- length treatments. If you do only roots it will enough for several treatments. Just remember to save and reuse the red plug for the bottle, then replace the cap. Very happy- still 5 stars!

Not worth the time or money
I have very curly hair that is prone to extreme frizziness, without alot of hair products. I loved my hair after going through a complex process of blow drying, then straightening. Even then I still had waves at the root area. I waited a few days before shampooing and conditioning, then right back to the same difficult curls I started with. Very disappointed in this product and it’s a waste of time.

Better than the Salon – but it’s NOT a smoothing Treatment!
This is a great at home treatment!! NOW if you’re looking for a relaxer style Brazilian treatment, then this is NOT for you! To preface this, I have 4C black hair. Very could, dry, and unruly a lot of the times. I used this product while my hair was blow dried, washed it out, blow dried my hair again, then I flat ironed my hair with a heat protectant hair serum. It’s been slick for days under my bonnet with no frizz. And the reason why I’m saying that is because I’m usually getting frizz within a day with normal products. Now after a few days I had to straighten my hair again but I didn’t have any issues with that besides the CLEAR difference between my roots and the rest of my hair. So if you’re a curly girl looking for a treatment that protects your hair while giving you great styling options temporarily, this inexpensive option is GREAT compared to paying 4x that for similar results at the salon. I’ve walked out the salon the same day and my silk press would frizz up by the time I’d get home. So I’m satisfied in this one for now. It’s a better option than me relaxing my hair.

Nourishes 4c but it wont straighten it
So I bought this product about 3 months ago and finally tried it tonight. I haven’t perm my hair in yrs. I did half of my scalp to see what it would look like and tell apart but it looks slightly different. You cant even tell the difference to be honest. So i parted my hair horizontally through the middle of my scalp and the bottom part is where I put the product. I washed my hair and dried it then added the product to bottom half let it sit for 50 mins and then rised it out without any shampoo like the instuctioms said and dried it again. It feels softer and detangled like the coils and knots smoothed out and it also feels hydrated from within. Not like when you add oil to your hair. So overall this is probably what I strived for since I wanted my hair to be more manageable since it gets very tangled easily with knots at the end. But if you have natural 4c like me and want it to feel like a perm you need to take the last step and flat iron it so your hair can look like you permed it. I’ll see how long this last.

Easy to use, little to no smell, love the results!!
So far I am really pleased with this product. I applied it yesterday (opened all the doors in my apartment for good ventilation) I didn’t apply it to the root like instructions say but for me personally because if I do keratin removes all the body from my hair so I didn’t want that. Came out very smooth silky shiny and doesn’t have too much of that keratin residue you sometimes get when the hair is dry granted I made sure to rinse a long time. It doesn’t say you have to wait 72hrs after treatment before using clips or hair ties or washing like traditional keratin treatments however I am waiting the 72 hours to see if my results r good and I’m a hairdresser and it’s what I’m used to. I applied and left on for 35 min because my hair is fine and has blonde. Overall I love how easy this is I love that it has little to no smell, it does produce fumes and irritate the skin some if gets on u if u have long hair but this is expected for this sort of treatment. I’m entirely pleased and will be recommending to my friends as we all live in South Florida humidity all year lol!!!
