Dry to getting better
Initial feel – very drying, still early but made a few changes, sealed the serum with a moisturizer to lock in the hydration and added sun protection. Also avoid Overuse: If you are a beginner, start by applying it once daily. If your skin feels comfortable after two weeks, you can increase to twice daily.

Love this serum!
I really like this serum! I’d never used an alpha arbutin serum prior to this, so I was curious about the hype. I use this directly after washing in the morning as a base under my other products and I must say, my skin feels smooth and incredibly hydrated. I don’t notice much of a smell either, which I like. It seems to help keep my face moisturized all day, so I would say it’s very effective. You also only need a few drops for your whole face, so this two ounce bottle will last quite awhile. Overall a great value for the money and a great product!

Works for sensitive skin! Only way I can use niacinamide
The day I got this serum was the day after I’d just done a 40% lactic peel and its been a few days now of daily use. I personally have sensitive skin (face was not happy with peel, burned the whole time and I deactivated after 2 minutes) and for that reason, would not recommend anything that would hurt sensitive skin.Firstly, I think this serum actually helped the healing. I noticed some soothing effects and lowered inflammation. To test for skin irritation, I initially applied the serum to where my skin was flaking. Typically abnormal for a lactic peel but I have some facial dermatitis causing the aforementioned sensitivity. There was no pain at all! I’ve gotten quite lucky recently considering that even some of my occlusive creams have caused pain.I did expect sone sensitivity with this cream considering it has niacinamide but really, it was fine.The instructions say that we can add extra layers but I find the serum thick enough that it stays where we place it. It does leave a slight gel on the face so I assume it has some occlusive characteristics as well.Overall, 10/10. I really did expect this to sting and it didn’t. I’m also happy I can use niacinamide again without pain!

A wonderful value serum
This serum feels great on the skin and has a very light fragrance that isn’t overpowering. For reference, I’m 35 with some mild wrinkles, fair skin, and a bit of sensitivity, and this worked well for me.Whenever I try a new skincare product, I use it on its own for a couple of days after cleansing before adding it into my full routine. It performed well as a standalone serum, but it felt even better once layered into my usual glass-skin style routine. It doesn’t feel heavy, sticky, or greasy at all. It did help my skin feel more hydrated. It’s not a miracle cure or anything, so I can’t promise that I got a photo-finish or de-aged overnight. Just that it really did feel good on my skin and I had a nice dewy look without being too sticky or wet looking either.For the price, the quality is honestly impressive. It feels much more expensive than it is, and it integrated easily into my routine without irritation. This is one I would absolutely repurchase.
