This mat is amazing, promotes a good nights sleep! This one is heated, and I’ll lay on it, put on some EMDR sound and cover myself with a 12 pound weighted blanket.Perfect way to treat yourself at home! #selfcare

This is a nice sized heating pad with lots of plastic discs that have lots of little plastic tips on them. It is not comfortable to lay on, in fact, it kind of hurts, so don’t let the “comfy” or “soothing” description deceive you–just remember this is accupressure. It has 3 heat settings, and even on the highest setting, I didn’t think it got that warm. The blue cover is cotton and velcroed at one end so you can take it apart and wash the cover if you like. Inside is a thin piece of foam (about 1/2 inch) and the pad with heating wires going through it. The pad is your basic foam, so there isn’t a lot of cushion. I have used it a few times and haven’t noticed any benefits from the accupressure feature, more benefit seems to be from the warmth of the pad. I noticed others mentioned putting their feet on it. I may give that a try with the hopes that it will relieve my plantar fasciitis.

Not sure the acupressure actually does anything
I really wanted to love this but unfortunately I think it is more a concept mat and wasnt carried out right. Does it act like a heating mat for sore muscles and cramps, yes most certainly. But the accupressure to me doesnt really feel like much and I typically go to actual acupuncturists who work with needles and pressure points. This isnt isolated to any particular point or practice so it just sort of is there. Will that still help, I am not sure. The price for a heated mat is a lot so if it doesnt work for its intended purpose of acupressure then I feel like there may be better options out there in this price range.
