I use this blended with prescription hydroquinone cream (which is expensive) and the combo works well to fade scars and age spots.

It’s OK but……..
It will be great for dry skin, but since I have a T-zone face and somewhat oily skin, it really doesn’t help. Haven’t used it long enough to determine whether the scars are diminishing.

I am allergic to niacinimide & it is in EVERY skincare product these days. So happy to have found this formulation since it is niacinimide-free! Very moisturizing & it gives a nice glow to the skin upon applying. I have repurchased this product at least 5 times. Very good value for money as 1 bottle lasts about 2 months for me. I use it day & night on my face, neck & shoulder.As far as its ability to clear hyperpigmentation, do not expect miracles. It takes weeks to months to see noticeable difference, but it does work. I have brown skin & a few dark post-acne marks & they have faded with time. I do not use serums, peels, toner, etc. I cleanse with Aveeno & apply this moisturizer afterwards. That’s it. My skin is in good shape.I appreciate that this formulation does not break me out & does not break the bank.

I didn’t think the amount of coconut oil this had would bother my skin since it’s not so high on the ingredient list but I have broken out while using this so it’s something to consider, also I found out it has 4% kojic acid which is a bit high and i’m suspecting it’s what causes my skin to sting after applying it. The sting doesn’t feel like my face is burning off but it does feel uncomfortable the first couple of minutes. I also noticed little crystals when rubbing it on my skin so it feels a little grainy and it’s not a heavy formula but it never seens to fully dry down. I would say if you want to try it definitely save it for night use unless you love the dewy look. I didn’t notice an improvement with my hyperpigmentation while using it for a month however I wasn’t using it daily since I was weary about the coconut oil.

I used this product religiously before they changed the formula to a cream. It was my favorite product, until they adjusted the formula. It now makes me break out whenever I use it. So unfortunate!

Does just what it says!
After the first use I immediately noticed a difference! I had a bad rash on my upper arms as a side effect of my current medication and had to wear long sleeves to cover up the spots. Once I applied this cream to all of the areas where I had scars, they are lightening up every time I re-apply more. Very happy I decided to give this a try!!
