Cheap materials. Use thick socks first
This was an interesting foot massage/pressure experience. Stepping on the plastic stones resulted in a crackly popping sound. The material of the faux rocks is a plastic that marks up the mat when rolled up. The mat quality is cheap and was very dented on arrival from the pressure of the jagged plastic pieces. The plastic nodes are connected to backing plastic pieces on the underside of the mat. There are a few included replacement pieces but I don't think this mat will hold up over time. It is a vinyl that should be easy to clean though. The length of the mat was long. It is an odd sensory experience with different style/size rocks with some pointier than others. The directions recommend starting with thick socks and gradually work towards no socks. I used it with thick socks and it didn't feel too unpleasant. If you are not accustomed to walking barefoot and don't have calloused feet it will feel painful to walk on barefoot. It would not be a good fit for sensitive feet.

    Horible piece of junk broken when I got it. Forgot to return it now I can't. Completely misrepresented piece of plastic that all the pieces fall out of

    I was genuinely excited to try this acupressure mat because I like the idea behind it. I often walk barefoot on smooth stones and find it relaxing and beneficial, so I expected a somewhat similar experience. Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations at all. The mat itself is made of very thin plastic, with toy-like plastic pieces attached to it. From the first look, the build quality felt poor and flimsy. When I tried to walk on it, the experience was not therapeutic but extremely painful—to the point where I could not walk on it at all. It felt poorly designed rather than intentionally stimulating. I also asked other members of my household to try it, and none of them were able to walk on it either. Overall, while the idea of an acupressure mat is appealing, this particular product falls far short. In my opinion, it does not deliver on its promise and is not worth the cost. I would not recommend it.
