Rose hips
I like to make rose hip tea when I’m getting sick, for the vitamin C. Rose hips on their own have a sort of robust, acidic taste to them. Adding the hibiscus makes it more tart. It’s not an everyday tea for me, but it feels like the daytime or warm season version of just steeped rose hips. With a sort of dark reddish brick brown color to it.

This hibiscus rose hips tea was delicious! You can’t beat $12 for individually packaged servings of loose leaf tea. The scent is amazing and potent. I enjoy that it’s caffeine-free and has natural ingredients, so it doesn’t hurt my stomach.I love adding a little bit of honey to my tea, and this is so tasty and herbal. A tea lovers dream!

Once prepared, it is a super refreshing tea. You can see all of the ingredients in each individually portioned bag. It’s loose tea to be brewed in a tea infuser or used with a strainer.I believe you can make a whole teapot with one bag. If infused separately it can absolutely make more than one cup of tea per bag. This is a pretty strong tea. There are 20 bags in this package.Sweeten to taste. It’s a little tart.Soothing when enjoyed warm, refreshing when enjoyed cold.Overall a wonderful buy.Steep and enjoy!

Amazing Tea
Very good tasting tea. Definitely good value for the money as a lot of bags come in the large resealable package. The tea ingredients come in individual plastic bags but they are not brewing bags. The ingredients have be taken out of the bags and either boiled and strained or used with a tea infuser. The ingredients themselves are very high quality and smell amazing.The taste is very strong with a very good looking deep red purple color. Tastes great either sweetened with honey or by itself. I personally don’t even need to sweeten it as I enjoy the tart flavor of hibiscus. The tea tastes just like agua de jamaica (hibiscus water) and tastes great either hot or cold. Very refreshing when drank cold. Instructions claim each tea bags can brew up to 3 or more times. I used one bag for a large mug that holds around 20oz and the flavor was great. Overall great tea. The only down side are the ingredients are sourced from China but they do seem to be of high quality.

Just my two cents on this tea
If you like very bold & tart, this tea blend is for you. I like tart, but it’s too tart for my liking that I added another tea leaf to mellow out the flavor. I’m a clinical herbalist so the flavor of hibiscus is very tart, especially if you have a larger percentage of it in the blend compared to the other tea leaves. Rosehip and Hawthorne give you sweet and tart. These 3 medicinal plants combined will give you that bold very tart taste. With the orange peel and apple pieces added to this blend, it increases the already sweetness to it. Since the sugar comes naturally from the dried fruit and the multiple tea leaves, this blend could be too sugary and have the potential to spike your blood sugar. If I had to formulate this blend, I would change this to reduce the sugar content and tartness.
