In 1999, I purchased a PVC hot water bag from a pharmacy and was burned by low temperatures. Through research, I discovered that PVC bags conduct heat more effectively than rubber, making them riskier for burns. Additionally, PVC bags have lower durability, with a greater risk of leaks or explosions. High quality and consistency.
Always phenomenal quality. I’ve been a Peterpan hot water bottle customer for several years now. I think since 2020. My original finally started having some cap seal issues after 6 years of almost monthly use.. It worked but I could tell the cap was on it’s way out and it was the old style cap so a replacement wouldn’t fit. The new one is just as awesome. Great company.

I love hot water bottles for their coziness and comfort! My other hot water bottles were too small for an adult, and I appreciate the large size of this one, even if I need to fill my tea kettle twice to get enough water into this bottle (maybe I need a larger tea kettle!). I received NO fleece cover for this item, as specified in the description and shown in a video of the product by another user. Additionally, the smell is disgusting, but I’m hoping that will fade in time. No leaks at this point; I’ve used it just once.

Peterpan Hot Water bottles are the best
I know most people hot water bottle and they think old people stuff, but trust me to really smooth back and body aches that need heat where you need it, between my wife and I this is the only way to go, oh sure electric heating pads are fine and work well but there is just something about the heat from hot water that really hits home, These can easily be adjusted for firm or more wrap around give plus the weight pressing that heat in. We found over the years the standard size water bottle was fine but always felt it should be bigger and these do the job great, These Peterpan bottles are made with a nice pliable silicone rubber that offers much more comfort than those inexepensive vinyl type bottles that are stiff, these are the good ones, and we are repeat buyers our last oversized bottle lasted about 3 years before handing and use it developed a leak, so I recently ordered two more, and we all have the Peterpan brand hot water bottles as well ( the standard size and the long narrow one ) these are absolutely marvelous.

If you are vintage enough to remember the red hot water bottles of our childhood, you will be happy you ordered this! It’s heavy duty and hold heat for a long time. It is also nice and large, covers my whole stomach and then some.

Fantastic product that retains heat.
I have this one and 2 more large sized from the same company that all came with covers. These were life savers when Texas had our big freezes a couple of times over the last 5 years with no electricity for several days and we couldn’t travel to try and get to someplace with heat. I have two parrots that I was able to keep alive by placing them on top of their travel cages with blankets over the top, and one for me. I used my little propane stove to boil water in a teapot and then fill. A word of caution though, I have silicone gloves I wear when filling because you can easily burn yourself if not careful. The heat lasted a good 5 hours with an inside temp of 35 degrees before I’d need to refill them again. I did attach a shoe string to both the screw on caps and hot water bottle so that I won’t lose the caps while storing.

I ordered this product because the advertisment saidit was safe to lie on due to a bad back. Unfortunately this is not what the instructions were , said do not lie on or put any pressure on the hot waer bottle. Because of this the product is not going to offer any relief for my sore back. It did arrive on time and in excellent shape but it will not help my aching back Thank you

TL;DR – It’s a jumbo sized hot water bottle. Doesn’t leak. Smells correct.Purchased this to help my wife with her discomforts. Both of use were impressed with the size of this hot water bottle. Definitely was worth getting. It smells exactly like the bottles of yore and thus far has not leaked and scalded us. Sometimes, that’s all you can ask for.The only ding I can give it, is that the stopper is that typical cheap plastic that is ubiquitous with these types of products. What can you do, as long as it works.If you’ve got some serious cramps, definitely pick up one of these. That extra surface area really envelops your mid section and is a god send.5/5 Hot Potatoes

The package I received included the hot water bottle and stopper, a rubber string to tie on as a lanyard, and a fleece cover for the hot water bottle. I like the fleece cover, as it prevents the hot water bottle from becoming so hot that it burns. The 3-litre size provides a wide area of warming coverage, and the water bottle holds its heat for 6 or more hours. The water bottle is easy to fill, though I had to do it in 2 stages, as my kettle for heating water only has a 1.8-litre capacity — if you have a smaller kettle, this may take longer.
