Love, love, love.
I’m always looking for the best and safest mineral sunscreen on the market. I like that this product does not have titanium dioxide which is banned in Europe. I am sensitive to scented products and this is truly unscented (no rancid or plastic odor). This feels silky smooth, creamy, moisturizing, and no pilling. I’ve been using this product for a week now and my skin hasn’t broken out. My cream makeup sticks evenly over this sunscreen and this works like a base cream. The white cream does not leave white cast if applied smoothly. This is my new favorite and I highly recommend you give this a try.

Very nice product, moisturizes and resists ruboff.
I love this! It doesn’t clog my pores, has hardly any detectable smell. It spreads evenly and easily, and is very moisturizing. I’m very active in outdoor sports all seasons, and this is my favorite for cold weather. I use it on my face skiing, and it prevents sun exposure as well as being a good enough moisture barrier that it prevents chapping from the wind and neck gator, etc. I have the 30 and the 50. 30 leaves hardly any white haze on skin, just a glow. The 50 does have a slightly white haze, but totally tolerable compared to some of my others. It is fairly rub resistant, but not foolproof. For total rub resistance in high sun environments – snorkel, close to equator, etc – I use Thinksport.

Great natural sunscreen with clean ingredients.
I’ve been really impressed with the Sky and Sol Natural Mineral Sunscreen. The texture is rich and creamy because of the tallow base, but it spreads surprisingly well once you warm it between your fingers. It feels nourishing on the skin—almost like a moisturizer and sunscreen in one.I love that it uses non-nano zinc oxide and truly natural ingredients. No strong fragrance, no irritation, and it doesn’t make my skin break out. It does leave a very slight white cast at first (which is normal for mineral sunscreens), but it blends in after a minute and feels protective without being greasy.I’ve been using it daily, especially on my face, and it holds up well under light makeup. Also great for sensitive skin or for anyone trying to switch to a cleaner, more natural SPF.Overall, a high-quality mineral sunscreen that feels good, smells natural, and gives peace of mind about what you’re putting on your skin. I would definitely repurchase!

Great quality, clean sunscreen
LOVE this sunscreen. I’m always worried about the ingredients in most sunscreens for my kids/baby and love that this is such clean ingredients. It was easy to apply and rubbed in well. There will be a slight whit-ish hue left behind, but it didn’t bother me. It felt good and absorbed well, instead of leaving your skin feeling all greasy and gross, it felt like a nice moisturizer. My kids (1, 3, and 5yrs) put up less of a fight with this than they have in the past with others, so that was also a win. I took off a star because it’s SO expensive! I didn’t realize how small the bottle was so for $30 it didn’t seem like much. We went through the whole thing in 2 days of the beach and pool. Unfortunately the good stuff is always so expensive!

Works great!
This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used! No smell, no chemicals. Kept us from getting burnt even on the beach in Florida. It can be hard get off your skin ( which is probably why it works so well.) You will need to scrub pretty hard to get it off your skin. It is pricey but well worth it! Great product, will be buying more for next year!

Beef Tallow is amazing!!! Great sun product!!
Great product!! I do not burn using this even when sitting on the beach for 3 hours. Must be the beef Tallow inside, it seems in a bit, doesn’t feel like a thick lotion….and I use a fair bit when I apply. Highly recommend!

Big Bummer
I had high expectations for this product because of all the hype I’ve seen and all the great ingredients (for which I gave 3 stars). I washed my face and applied a small amount of the product. It feels very stiff and pulls the skin when rubbing it in, it does not rub in, it sits on top and feels very thick. I first noticed how sticky it is when I tried to wash it off the palms of my hands. I washed my hands 3 times and still felt it on my hands. I wear glasses and normally have to adjust them, when adjusting them with this product on my skin my glasses (where they rest on the bridge of my nose) stuck and pulled my skin. After wearing this product for a couple hours my skin still felt sticky, like tacky glue. It felt like I’d smeared bacon fat or vaseline on my skin. I’ve recently been on a journey to replace toxic products I’ve been duped into using and I had such high hopes for Sky & Sol.

Rubs in fast with little/no residue.
I rarely write a review for any product but feel this one is a winner. I’ve tried many mineral based sunscreens but this one is by far the best. The one I had settled on previously was sheer enough to hide the white with enough rubbing, but didn’t actually rub in. It left a greasy film on the surface of the skin and a white residue on my car and home upholstery and other things it touched. It also was difficult to wash off, needing vigorous scrubbing with a washcloth and soap. Sky and Sol actually rubs in to your skin and doesn’t rub off onto other things you don’t want it on. The white disappears in half the time and it washes off clean with way less scrubbing. Still, it stays put and doesn’t run into your eyes when playing sports and provides great, long lasting protection from the sun without the health risks associated with the chemical based sunscreens. I’d give it five stars if the price was more reasonable, but it’s still the only one I’ll use because it’s that much better.
