Good hair straightener that I can use more often
This is a solid and good quality hair straightener. The color is as it appears. It’s also the perfect size for me. I used this twice and did not have nearly the amount of damage I had while using a flat iron all these years. My hair was basically back to normal versus using the flat iron, which would leave my hair crispy for days, even after using my preheat spray. It took a little bit to get used to using. I had to make sure there were no knots in my hair, so I brushed it really well. Then, I used my preheat spray. Once I did that, I used this on small sections on my hair. I used the first 3rd dot setting, which did the job, but to get it pin straight. Then I used the 4th dot afterwards. I have hair that is dyed, kind of thin, and wavy. Still, my hair was smooth as shiny afterward. As long as I brush and use a small enough section, not too thick, it was easy to use. I alsonhave to make sure to clean out rhe bristles after each pass so the next batch doesn’t get stuck on the bristles. I think I can use this way more often than my flat straightener. The hair doesn’t stay straightened for as long as aftwe using a flat iron, but I’m ok with it because I would rather have less damaged hair. I’m very happy with this hair straightener.

I’ve been using for years to touch up my silk presses or leave out for my wigs. It works well on my straight hair wigs as well as my natural hair. Helps me prep for braiding without applying too much heat as they have different heat settings.

Your not a sucker, if you’re considering this straightener, and your hair will love you
I love this straightener. It’s better than any other professional straightener & I’ve tried a lot. My hair actually looks and feels healthier,after straightening with the tymo ring. It really works with 1 pass making straightening much quicker. I did order the tymo heat protectant spray to use,and this stuff is like magic in a bottle. My hair is so softwith this alone,and I can run my fingers through it all day. It also helps the straightening comb glide through the hair. It’s not sticky or heavy at all and it comes in a nice little glass bottle. Now, I can’t speak on how good this straightner is without the heat protectant spray. The straightener has different heat settings. I usually use the highest or right below for my coarse,wavy hair and it never feels damaging to my hair. I see no steam, although it gets hot enough you could burn your scalp if you’re not careful. In the box you get 2 hair clips,a little brush, and a heat protector glove,which you’ll realize is a must to use. The only con i have is where the temperature and power buttons are located. I usually always push it accidentally because it’s right where you have to hold the straightener. I still highly recommend though. If you have thick/frizzy hair,you’d probably be better off with the tymo ring plus. For me, this one’s perfect. If you’re on the fence, buy it. It really is a great value and you’ll be so happy you have it!

Well thought out review with 4 out of 5 stars…
I waited a while to write this review because I have been conflicted on how I feel about this tool, but after using it for a few weeks now I am definitely going to keep it and I get better at it with each use. The positives first are that I have thin frizzy hair and a traditional flat iron makes it look even thinner and it also takes any body out of it and flattens it, but this doesn’t do that. If you want a bit more body you can go from underneath or you can get in really close to the roots and flatten them first and then twist it a bit for some curl towards the bottom and ends and it just looks so different and so much better than a flat iron. My favorite part is that with a flat iron the back of my head was always kinky and frizzy if I used it without blow drying my hair out first, but not with this. It allows you to go under and really get every hair and truly straighten out the kinks and frizz. A couple of times I’ve had people I see often ask me if I just had my hair done because of the way it comes out sometimes. So to the negatives, it really is only sometimes that it looks amazing and the other times it just looks good. I will get better at it with more use and hopefully every time will be amazing. Also mine seemed used and I cleaned the crap out of it and sanitized it because it’s an “often returned item” I just assumed it happens a lot. Also it does tend to pull more hair than normal out because it’s latching on with the slots and my flat iron never did that. Overall this is a 4 out of 5 stars. The mitt is useless. This also heats up fast and has Velcro to hold the cord which I love.

Depends on your hair type
I have curly/wavy hair. The photo shows it brushed out. I’ve been told I don’t have thick hair but a lot of hair. That said, this works really well for my hair type and love the protective top, let’s me get right upto my scalp without burning myself. And the temp is less then other straighteners so better for your hair. If you have thick curly hair, I can see this straightener not being great for that hair type is all. All the accessories are a big plus too!

È facile da usare, si scalda in pochi secondi e lascia i capelli lisci, morbidi e lucidi senza rovinarli.Anche su capelli crespi o leggermente ondulati fa un ottimo lavoro, e il risultato è molto naturale. Funciona para las de poco cabelloTengo mucho cabello lo tengo grueso pensé que este cepillo me evitaría la plancha pero no; es más fácil tengo un cepillo secador y me lo seco y me lo deja casi lacio pero esponjado y con la plancha me queda perfecto; pensé que este cepillo venir a sustituir la plancha pero por tener tanto cabello no entra a mi cabello entonces tengo que hacer muy pequeñas porciones para que funcione bien y me tardo muchísimo más que con la plancha, entonces NO lo recomiendo para quienes tengan mucho cabello; si calienta muy bien trae un guante que si uno tiene precaución no es necesario pero bueno lo use muy pocas veces

The brush came packaged very well even with a little carrying bag. The product itself is amazing, it heats up super quickly, is light and easy to use, and it only took one pass for my hair to look straight. I have 4B natural hair so I was hesitant buying this but I would recommend every with natural hair to buy this. It literally looks like a silk press so absolutely amazing. I will say it does start smoking a little bit into use and it also turns off after 30 mins, but that’s not a problem for me. Overall the best straightening tool, literally took less than 1 hr to straighten when it usually takes 2 hrs.

I have very thick, super wavy hair. I gave up years ago trying to straighten it as it was too much work, took too long and was difficult. Someone who had the same sort of hair as me recommended this to me. She was able to do the back of her hair for the first time in her life. I ordered it, and I’m so glad I did! I’m finally able to straighten my hair. All of it!! It only takes 15 to 20 minutes and is super easy! I love this thing. And I loved the pink clips, the little brush, the glove to protect my hand… all of it!! I’ll be buying one of these again if it ever breaks!!
